Programming Switch Positions

When programming or "flashing" your Hoverfly product with updated firmware, you will often be prompted to set the programming switch to Position 1 or Position 2. As illustrated here, Position 1 is indicated by the presence of a white dot, while Position 2 has no markings. This dot is not necessarily in the same position on all products, so be sure to check for the dot before clicking the "Flash" button!

What position should these switches be in operation mode?  It would be nice for the flash software to indicate to the user to place these switches in the correct position AFTER flashing is complete for correct operation.

    Hello Steve,

The position of the programming switch only matters during the programming and calibration of the board. During operation, we recommend that you keep the switch in the #1 position so that it will be ready to go if you should need to re-program the board or change any settings.
