Battery Voltage Adjustment

Because of variation in the resistance between the battery and the voltage sensor on the HoverflyPro, adjustment of the voltage reading on the OSD may be required to achieve a high accuracy.  Firmware versions greater than 4.5 include this feature.  

 

What you need

1. HoverflyPro (ready to fly on your multi-rotor)

2. Voltage measurement device (multimeter, power analyzer, watt meter, etc)

3. Charged battery for your multi-rotor

4. v4.5 or greater of the firmware and setup clients.

 

What to do

 

1. Remove the propellers from your multi-rotor

 

2. Connect your HoverflyPro to the Pro Info tab in the setup client

3. Set the Voltage Adjustment to 0.0

4. Click the Save Button

5. Click the Help button

6. Plug your flight battery into your multi-rotor

7. Using your voltage measurement device measure your battery's voltage

 

8. Input this voltage into the multimeter box

9. Click the OK button

Notice the voltage correction has been applied to your correction slider

10. Click the Save button

Your battery voltage should now read correctly!
