Several users have reported issues concerning yaw-roll coupling over the past two months. This issue involves an unintended change in the roll axis when making a yaw move, either by spinning the aircraft or moving the pan servo. In many cases, the roll servo then will not return to center following the yaw move.
All users who have reported this issue noticed it shortly after updating to version 1.06 firmware. However, subsequent reversion to 1.03 firmware does not seem to have any effect on the issue.
At this time, we are still investigating the cause of this issue.
This issue is considered resolved as of HoverflyGIMBAL firmware version 1.8rev0.
